The importance of meekness in our walk with God cannot be underestimated.   It’s only the meek who have the advantage of knowing secrets about God. A strong – willed person can receive no instruction from God. Meekness makes the word of God to produce result. Meekness is needed in bringing sinners to the knowledge of Christ and in bringing young believers up. Strife is prolonged when you lack meekness. You definitely do not expect 100% rightness from an unbeliever but you win them over with meekness while resisting the Evil Spirit in them aggressively. You seek to be meek by reading the scriptures, cultivating the habit of meekness and trusting God.

To get New Wine we need to present new bottles before God. How then can we do this?...   Be renewed in your thinking…thoughts are very powerful, your thought controls your actions and rules your life, therefore you need to take heed not to think negativity.   Be renewed in your attitude. Your attitude is a passageway to new events in your life. Bad or wrong attitude bring bad events, while Right attitude makes things right in one’s life.  Be renewed in your decision. I am a result of my decision, therefore decisions I made in the past that made me to be where I am, and who I am needs to be thoroughly examined. 2 Cor. 3:18, Decide to tarry in the word of God, in prayer and fasting .

Lisa is a very beautiful lady whose power of thought held back. We used to be coursemates at the higher institution but from our first year,Lisa wasn't doing so well and and anytime anyone asked her,she always told such person that not everyone will be exceptionally brilliant and this excuse always made her even worse. It got to a point that she started failing tests woefully and she knew she might be dismissed from school. Not long,she made up her mind that she could be brilliant and she was going to graduate. She started burning midnight candles and at the end we all graduated with first class. Looking at this short story,Lisa's thought was what first affected her and later influenced her.
